Sequential LED Flasher
Power supply voltage: 3-6V
PCB Size: 90 x 25 mm
This is a DIY kit, and assembly is required. Instructions are included in English and Greek.
This simple sequential LED flasher (sequentially left to right) is based on the popular Decade Counter IC 4017 and it is considered to be an ideal starting point for beginners in electronics. The circuit uses 10 LEDs to produce a running or chasing effect. A flashing “dot” runs from right to left, returns at the starting point, runs again, and the sequence is repeated infinitely.
The speed of the sequential shifting is directly depended on the frequency of a clock signal which is generated from an astable multivibrator circuit. A potentiometer is used for speed adjustment. |
